GT Global pioneered the development of the gravity-fed non-deslimed 3-product heavy media cyclone. This process has been used internationally in over 500 coal preparation plants.

- Separates run of mine coal down to 0.25 mm and a top size as large as 4 inch (110 mm) using a 1500 mm diameter gravity-fed 3-product cyclone without desliming the raw coal.
- Run-of-mine coal can be further separated down to 0.1 mm when combining the 3-product heavy media cyclone with a fine coal heavy media cyclone. This increases the range of coal processed using heavy media to 0.1 mm.
